Hastelloy B2 Bars and Rods consist mainly of nickel (approximately 69%) and molybdenum (28–30%), with minor elements such as iron, chromium, cobalt, and manganese. This alloy has very high resistance to hydrochloric acid as well as other powerful reducing agents. The mechanical properties of this alloy are a tensile strength of about 690 MPa, yield strength of around 310 MPa, and an elongation rate of about 40%.
