Copper Nickel 95/5 Bars and Rods consist of about 95% copper and 5% nickel, supplemented by trace elements of iron and manganese that contribute to mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion. These rods have very good tensile strength between 275 and 345 MPa, high ductility with elongation as much as 30%, and excellent heat and electricity conductivity. Non-magnetic in character, this alloy works extremely well in rough environments, showing resistance to corrosion by seawater and biofouling.
