Inconel 600 Bars and Rods are mainly made up of nickel (at least 72%), chromium (14–17%), and iron (6–10%), along with small amounts of manganese, silicon, and copper. This alloy, strengthened through solid-solution processes, boasts impressive mechanical properties across a broad temperature spectrum. It has a tensile strength of about 655 MPa and a yield strength of roughly 310 MPa. Inconel 600 is particularly resistant to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking and performs well against oxidation at high temperatures, reaching up to 1175°C, making it perfect for both high-heat and corrosive industrial settings.
