Duplex Steel Round Bars have a balanced microstructure of about 50% austenite and 50% ferrite with the optimum properties from both the phases. The alloy generally has 18-28% chromium, 4-7% nickel, 1-4% molybdenum, and low carbon content, which makes it resistant to corrosion and stronger. Mechanically, the bars have high tensile strength (approximately 620-880 MPa), good yield strength, and satisfactory elongation (25-35%). Their dual-phase structure offers superior stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion resistance as well as excellent toughness and fatigue properties, suitable for tough industrial conditions.
