What is High Speed Steel M35 Bars ?

High Speed Steel M35 Bars are alloyed with about 0.9% carbon, 4.8% chromium, 5% cobalt, 6.3% tungsten, 2% molybdenum, and 1.9% vanadium. The presence of cobalt improves red hardness and hot hardness, thus M35 is suitable for high-speed cutting tools. The bars possess good wear resistance, toughness, and cutting efficiency. They are generally hardened to level of about 64–66 HRC through heat treatment. M35 even retains its strength and cutting capacity at high temperatures, rendering it reliable in performance withstanding high mechanical stress and thermal loads.
