Monel 400 Forgings essentially contain about 63% nickel and 28-34% copper, with trace amounts of iron, manganese, and other trace elements. This alloy has good corrosion resistance, particularly in marine and chemical environments. Mechanically, Monel 400 Forgings have high tensile strength (approximately 550 MPa), favorable ductility, and toughness. The material is strong over a broad range of temperatures with a melting point of approximately 1350°C.
