Super Duplex Steel Forgings consist of high chromium (24–26%), nickel (6–8%), molybdenum (3–5%), and nitrogen (0.2–0.3%) with little carbon content. These constituents deliver superior pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking resistance. Mechanically, they possess high yield strength (usually on the order of 550 MPa), tensile strength well in excess of 750 MPa, and elongation at about 25%.
