Monel Round Bars consist mainly of nickel content (up to 67%) along with copper, followed by traces of iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. The composition provides Monel superior resistance to corrosive environments such as seawater and acids. Mechanically, these bars demonstrate a high tensile strength of about 550 MPa and yield strength of around 240 MPa with elongation up to 35%. They have toughness over a broad temperature range and are known for good weldability and workability.
