Super Duplex Steel Round Bars are largely made of iron and possess balanced proportions of chromium (around 24-26%), nickel (6-8%), molybdenum (3-5%), and nitrogen. This composition confers high strength and superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Mechanically, these bars have a tensile strength of approximately 860-1000 MPa and yield strength of around 550-700 MPa, with good toughness and ductility. Their duplex microstructure, comprising approximately equal fractions of austenite and ferrite phases, bestows improved mechanical behavior in adverse environments.
