Incoloy 800 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy containing around 30-35% nickel, 19-23% chromium, and 39.5% iron with trace content of manganese, silicon, carbon, and titanium. Its mechanical characteristics are outstanding tensile strength, better oxidation resistance, and superior thermal stability up to 1100°C. The alloy possesses high creep rupture strength and excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing as well as mildly reducing conditions. Incoloy 800 forgings possess excellent durability with good toughness, weldability, and resistance to stress corrosion cracking and are thus particularly useful for stringent industrial applications.
