Super Duplex Steel S32760 Forgings consist of around 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 3.5% molybdenum, 0.2% nitrogen, and trace amounts of manganese and copper. This alloy provides superior resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking. It has a very high tensile strength of about 750 MPa and yield strength of about 550 MPa, with an elongation of 25%. Its austenitic-ferritic structure balance gives it outstanding mechanical properties at low and high temperatures and makes it extremely suitable for use in aggressive environments where high strength and corrosion resistance are necessities.
