Titanium Grade 11 Bars/Rods consist mainly of titanium (min. 99.5%) with minor additions of palladium (0.12–0.25%), which increases corrosion resistance, particularly in reducing environments. They have good mechanical properties such as tensile strength of about 345 MPa (50 ksi), yield strength of 275 MPa (40 ksi), and elongation of 24%. Grade 11 also exhibits superior ductility and impact toughness, even at cryogenic temperatures. The palladium in it makes Grade 11 particularly suitable for application in environments exposed to brine, chlorides, and acidic conditions, providing strength and corrosion resistance under demanding conditions.
