Rupal Metals is a globally acclaimed Delhi-based manufacturer and supplier of premium Stainless Steel XM19 Forgings. With decades of manufacturing expertise and a focus on perfection, we provide high-quality forged products suitable for high-stakes applications in a range of industries. Our XM19 stainless steel forgings are recognized for their excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and longevity. In Rupal Metals, we have strict quality standards and provide client-centric solutions to fulfill the individual requirements of our customers. With the latest infrastructure and expert professionals, we are able to provide dependable, high-performance forgings to India and the world.
Stainless Steel XM19 Forgings contain iron as the main component with about 20–23% chromium, 11–13% nickel, 4–6% manganese, 1.5–3% molybdenum, and some nitrogen traces. The balanced content ensures improved resistance to corrosion and strength. Mechanically, XM19 has a yield strength of more than 100 ksi, tensile strength of about 125 ksi, and high elongation and impact resistance. It maintains strength even at cryogenic temperatures and is more tough than conventional austenitic stainless steels. This makes XM19 the best for tough applications that demand both corrosion resistance and strength.

The forging process for Stainless Steel XM19 typically takes several hours, depending on the size and complexity of the part. Heating, shaping, and cooling stages contribute to the overall duration.
The ideal temperature range for forging Stainless Steel XM19 is between 2100°F to 2200°F (1149°C to 1204°C). It's important to maintain proper cooling to avoid distortion or cracking.
Yes, Stainless Steel XM19 (a high-strength alloy) can be forged into custom shapes. It offers excellent formability, allowing manufacturers to create parts with specific dimensions and designs as needed.
Stainless Steel XM19 Forgings are extensively applied in industries where high corrosion resistance and strength are needed. Typical uses involve marine hardware, pump and valve parts, chemical processing equipment, fasteners, and shafts. Because of its superior pitting and stress corrosion cracking resistance, XM19 finds particular importance in seawater and chlorides. It is utilized in the oil and gas, aerospace, and nuclear industries. The fact that the alloy can retain its mechanical integrity in harsh conditions means it best suits components enduring high stress, harsh chemicals, or low temperatures in high-stakes applications.
