Aluminium 1070 is a high-purity alloy (with at least 99.7% aluminium) that doesn’t require heat treatment, making it renowned for its outstanding electrical and thermal conductivity, impressive corrosion resistance, and high ductility. It contains small amounts of iron, silicon, copper, and other elements. Its mechanical properties feature a tensile strength of about 90–120 MPa, a yield strength of around 34 MPa, and a high elongation rate (up to 35%), which can vary based on temper and processing.
