Stainless Steel 17-7 PH Bars/Rods are primarily made of iron with about 17% chromium, 7% nickel, and minor additions of aluminum. The special combination ensures excellent precipitation-hardening properties. The bars have high tensile strength (up to 1100 MPa), yield strength in the range of 1000 MPa, and Rockwell hardness of HRC 35–43 following aging treatment. They possess good fatigue resistance and thermal stability during heat treatment, so they are ideal for precision parts. The alloy has good corrosion resistance as well, providing a stable performance in corrosive conditions while maintaining formability and machinability.
