Delhi, India-based Rupal Metals is a reliable manufacturer and supplier of quality Stainless Steel 446 Bars and Rods catering to a wide range of industrial applications. As being renowned for their quality and accuracy, Rupal Metals offers SS 446 bars that provide excellent resistance against high temperature and corrosion. Their offerings conform to international standards and are designed for harsh environments like thermal processing and chemical industries. With its good reputation of reliability and timely delivery, Rupal Metals continues to serve the vital infrastructure and manufacturing industries of India and beyond.
Stainless Steel 446 Bar and Rods consist mainly of 23–27% chromium, up to 1.5% manganese, 0.2% carbon, and traces of molybdenum, silicon, and nickel. This ferritic stainless steel with high chromium content offers superior oxidation and sulfidation resistance under high temperatures. Mechanically, these bars have a tensile strength of approximately 485 MPa, yield strength of around 275 MPa, and 20% elongation. These bars are resistant to structural integrity in thermal cycling environments and have moderate corrosion resistance and toughness, making them suitable for high-heat service and chemically aggressive conditions.
