Stainless Steel 321 Round Bars and Rods contain mostly iron, chromium (17-19%), and nickel (9-12%), with an addition of titanium (approximately 0.5-1%) for stabilizing the structure and avoiding carbide precipitation. This helps in improving its intergranular corrosion resistance. Mechanically, SS 321 has good tensile strength of about 75 ksi (515 MPa), yield strength of about 30 ksi (205 MPa), and fair ductility.
